Points System Explained

Apply to work in Taiwan by reaching the required score based on education, salary, language skills, and work experience.
What is the Points System?
Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao, and international students with an associate degree or above in Taiwan may apply to work in Taiwan through the Points System.
Scores are based on education, salary, work or internship experience, professional skills, Chinese and other language abilities, growth experience, and government policy factors.
A total score of 70 or above is required.
How to Work in Taiwan After Graduation
1. Monthly salary of NT$47,971 or above
2. Apply through the Overseas Student Points System
Work Permit Period
Up to 3 years, with unlimited extensions.

• Before the Ministry of Labor issues the work permit, work is not allowed. Violations may result in a fine of NT$30,000 to NT$150,000.
